Placement rules
To keep pickups smooth (and avoid curbside issues), items must be placed on your property in an accessible, secured location.
Do not place items on the curb, sidewalk, road allowance, front lawn, or in shared garbage areas.
What to do before pickup
Group items
Keep smaller metal items together (bin/box is fine) so nothing gets missed.
Remove non‑metal parts
When practical, remove fabric/wood/plastic so the item qualifies as metal-only.
Clear access
Keep gates open, move cars if needed, and make sure the path is safe (snow/ice/pets).
Special items: if an item may contain refrigerant, fuel, or batteries, contact us first for the correct handling steps.
